In commemoration of World Yoga Day, celebrated annually on June 21st, Casa de Campo Resort and Villas organized a special yoga and meditation session last Saturday, June 8th, on the stunning Minitas Beach.
Located in a paradisiacal setting, where sand and sea combine in harmony, Minitas Beach served as the perfect stage for this event that brought the community together for a revitalizing and enriching experience.
Talented coaches Kira Montagu and Jackie Arvelo took turns guiding each participant, motivating them to explore yoga poses beneficial for health and well-being. From children to adults, the attendance was diverse and enthusiastic, demonstrating yoga's broad reach and accessibility for all ages and abilities.
World Yoga Day, proclaimed by the United Nations, celebrates the countless benefits of this ancient practice for physical, mental, and spiritual health. These benefits include increased flexibility, muscle strengthening, stress reduction, and improved cardiovascular health, among others.
Casa de Campo is proud to have been part of this global celebration, offering the community the opportunity to connect with themselves and with nature through yoga and meditation.
