Casa de Campo® is a residential project located in La Romana, owned by Central Romana Corporation, Ltd. It is currently the most complete and exclusive tourist destination in the Caribbean.

Located in the lush sugarcane fields of the southeastern coast of the Dominican Republic, its location was chosen by Gulf + Western, the parent company of Paramount Pictures and original developer of the project, for its privileged climate, terrain, and marvelous sea views.

In 1971, Casa de Campo® introduced a novel luxury resort offering centered around a rich sporting life never before seen in the Caribbean. Luminaries from Hollywood, South America, and Europe responded with great enthusiasm.

After completing its sale to Central Romana in the 1980s, Casa de Campo® began a new phase of development, with the construction of a cruise port, airport facilities, and other significant renovations.

Casa de Campo® is not only home to Teeth of the Dog®, the Caribbean’s #1 golf course, but also features a luxury resort, idyllic beaches, tennis, paddle, and pickleball courts, polo and shooting ranges, the largest marina in the Caribbean, world-class restaurants, and major cultural and recreational venues in Altos de Chavón.
