Country Club

La Romana Country Club, set in the heart of Casa de Campo®, is a private club that offers a one-of-its-kind Pete Dye-designed golf course. Club members come from a range of nationalities, and the clubhouse is at the center of the community. Members can enjoy a private spa and health club, a 25-meter swimming pool, a children's pool and playground, tennis courts, shops, and restaurants in the clubhouse.

• Regular Members:
 Regular members enjoy full access to all the club's facilities and services, including: the 27-hole golf course, driving range, 4 tennis courts, 2 pickleball courts, 3 paddle courts, gym, beauty salon, spa, swimming pool, restaurants, and bars. In addition, they may participate in the club's programs, social events, and exclusive activities.

• Social Members:
Social members have access to all club facilities and services, with the exception of the golf areas, for themselves and their guests. The golf areas will be available to social members subject to guest policies and applicable fees.

• Legacy Program:
From the age of 26, children and grandchildren of members can join the club under the legacy program with a reduced initiation fee, representing a discount on the regular or social member initiation fee applicable at the time of the application, based on the applicant’s age.

Requirements

• Ownership of a property in Casa de Campo.
• Sponsorship by at least two active club members.
• Completion of the application form and submission to the LRCC administration office, accompanied by two letters of recommendation from the sponsoring members and a recent photograph of the applicant.
• The application must be approved by the Club’s Board of Directors.
• Payment of the initiation fee and applicable monthly dues.

Applications for new memberships are evaluated and approved by the Board of Directors twice a year, in March and October. These dates are subject to change.

Club rules

• Members must behave properly and refrain from using bad language.
• Club equipment may not be loaned to members. If any piece of equipment or item is inadvertently removed by any member, their guest, or their son/daughter, it should be returned immediately, or the member will have to pay the value of the item purchased.
• Guests will be granted the privileges required in the new Club Rules and Regulations “Guests” section.
• The Game Room may be used only by members and their guests.
• Members may not bring any food or beverages into the Club without the Club Manager’s permission.
• Pets are not allowed on Club property.
• Any negligence on the part of our employees must be reported immediately to the Club Management.

General Rules

General Rules
• Members are encouraged to make dinner reservations in advance to avoid delays.
• External food or beverages are not permitted on the premises without prior authorization from the Management.
• Only service animals are allowed on the club's premises.
• The Club is not responsible for any lost personal belongings.
• Consumption must be properly signed with a legible name and membership number.

Code of Conduct
• Members and their guests are expected to maintain respectful, courteous, and appropriate behavior at all times.
• Profanity, abusive behavior, or disorderly conduct is strictly prohibited.
• Golf etiquette as established by the U.S.G.A. must be observed on the golf course.
• Members are responsible for the behavior of their dependents and guests in all areas of the Club.
• The behavior of children is also the responsibility of the member.

Prohibited Conduct
• Running, pushing, or rough play in common areas (pool, spa, gym).
• The use of glassware around the pool or jacuzzi.
• Inappropriate attire according to the specific rules of each area.
• Access by minors to restricted areas without supervision.
• Misuse or removal of Club equipment.

Pets
• Only service animals that are properly identified are allowed on the Club premises. They must be registered with the administration office.

Sanctions
• Failure to comply with the rules may result in temporary or permanent sanctions, depending on the severity of the violation.
• The Club Manager and their delegates have the authority to intervene and enforce these regulations.

Guest Policy

A non-resident guest of Casa de Campo may use the Club’s facilities for a maximum of 15 days per year.

A resident guest, occasional visitor, or long-term tenant of Casa de Campo may use the Club’s facilities no more than twice per month, for a total of no more than 10 times per calendar year.

Guests must pay for the use of facilities and their consumption either by credit card or by charging it to the sponsoring member's account, provided prior authorization from the member has been obtained.

Payments for services provided by instructors, ball boys, tennis players, and caddies must be made in cash directly to the person.

APPENDIX VI – GUEST FEES

1. Golf Courses

These prices are per person, per round, and include the use of the practice range prior to the round, green fees, and shared cart. A caddie is required for our course. The caddie fee is US$25.00 per player, to be paid directly to the caddie at the end of the round.

All members and their guests must register at the Golf Pro Shop before heading to the course.

Please note that between May and October, the annual golf course maintenance program takes place to ensure the course remains in optimal condition for our members and guests. During this period, only 18 holes may be open at a time, either through the rotation of the original course or a combination of the original course and the nine new holes.

2. Tennis Courts (Padel and Pickleball)
Guests playing with a member will be charged US$10.00.
Guests playing without partner US$20.00- during the day
US$25.00 – overnight
Prices per person, for one hour of court time.
During the season and holidays, certain restrictions may apply for guests wishing to use the courts on weekends or during peak hours.

3. Gym and Pool
Guests will be charged US$17.00 per day for the use of the gym and/or pool. If the guest is accompanied by the member, they may use the pool without this charge. Prices are subject to taxes and service charges.

La Romana Country Club Golf Rules

Field Registration and Use
• All members and guests must register at the Proshop before playing.
• Groups of 4 players (foursomes) have priority on the course.
• Recommended maximum time: 4 hours for 18 holes.
• If players stop for lunch after 9 holes, they forfeit priority for the remaining 9 holes.

Guests
Unaccompanied guests must register in advance and pay the corresponding fee.

Guest fees:
• Accompanied: US$125 (18 holes) | US$70 (9 holes)
• Unaccompanied: US$1,420 (18 holes) | US$1,000 (9 holes)

Equipment and Caddies
Each player must have their own equipment.
Caddies are mandatory, except from May 1 to September 30 after 3:00 p.m.

Dress Code
Allowed: Polo shirts, golf pants, skirts, and shorts (appropriate length).

Not allowed
• Sleeveless shirts (except for appropriate blouses for ladies)

Driving range No bare feet or sandals are allowed.

Golf Lessons
Cancellations must be made at least one hour in advance, or the lesson will be charged.

Behavior
U.S.G.A. etiquette rules apply.
Disrespectful conduct, offensive language, or disorderly behavior is prohibited.
• The field ranger can intervene to maintain the pace of play.

TENNIS COURT RULES

A- The tennis courts at “La Romana Country Club” are available only to Members and their guests (subject to guest policies). Members and their guests must register before playing.

B- There is a fee for each guest to use the courts. Members will be charged to their account for their guests if they do not check in before playing. Guests must be accompanied by their host unless special arrangements have been made with staff in advance.

Court reservations can be made one day in advance by phone between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Club functions, such as tournaments and league games, are not considered reserved time. Reservations will not be honored during these times. If players have not arrived within 10 minutes of their reserved time, the reservation is forfeited. Players without reservations may play based on court availability. Less than four players will be considered as singles. Players whose reserved court is unavailable at their reserved time due to rain or moisture will not be able to transfer their reservation to another reserved court.

D- For lighted courts, there will be an additional charge of US$25.00 per hour for using the tennis court without a member. Reservations will be accepted only on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 6:00 p.m.

When there are no reservations, the courts will be available to Members and their Guests without the need to book. Usage time will be limited by the Tennis Pro or until those with reservations arrive.

Not allowed Swimsuits and tank tops.

Proper attire is required to access the court.

AllowedRegulation tennis attire for both men and women.

The only shoes permitted on tennis courts are those with a smooth sole and suitable for clay courts.

G- The Tennis Pro may close any or all courts at any time due to maintenance or weather. Members must stop playing immediately when requested to do so.

Guests of tennis members may participate in all tennis events, with the manager's authorization, except for the Club's annual championships. Only members may play in the Club championship.

During the season, the use of the courts will be limited for guests not accompanied by the member.

The Tennis Pro has the authority to enforce etiquette and discipline and implement all pertinent rules for the tennis facilities, subject to review by the Tennis Committee.

• Guests will incur a daily charge of US$17.00 for pool usage.
• Each person is responsible for their own safety and the safety of others.

• The manager and lifeguards have the authority to remove individuals who violate the rules.

Strictly prohibited conduct:
• Running, pushing, or dragging individuals in the pool.
• Rough play.
• Jumping in the shallow end of the pool.
• The use of floaters, balls, or objects without the lifeguard’s permission.
• The use of glassware around the pool or jacuzzi.
• Use of obscene language.

Lifeguard
A lifeguard is assigned during service hours.

Towels:
The Club provides towels for the pool, spa, and gym (towels should not be removed from the area).

Swimming lessons
Available only with prior coordination with the Club Management.

Appropriate attire:
Allowed: Swimwear, hats, and visors (with the visor facing forward).
Not allowed: Thong-style swimwear and denim jeans.

Special rules for children:
• Children under 3 years They must use special swim diapers and a swimsuit.
• Children under 8 years must be accompanied by an adult over 18 years of age and know how to swim.
The club does not offer babysitting or childcare services.
