The Patronato Benéfico Oriental, Inc. (PBO) successfully celebrated the nineteenth edition of its traditional "Fin de Semana Hogar del Niño" (Child's Home Weekend), a charity event that brought together hundreds of participants in Casa de Campo to enjoy a comprehensive sports, recreational, and solidarity program.
Consolidated as one of the most anticipated philanthropic activities in the Eastern region, this annual event aims to raise funds for the strengthening of educational, health, and integral development programs for Hogar del Niño, impacting more than 2,000 children in La Romana and surrounding communities.
A weekend of sport, wellness, and community
The exclusive La Romana Country Club was the main venue for the traditional Golf Tournament, as well as the Tennis, Padel, and Pickleball competitions. The programming also included Yoga sessions, the creative Sip & Crochet space, a Textile Workshop, special activities for children, and the dynamic WAO Market, creating a comprehensive experience for the whole family.
The event culminated in an elegant and fun awards cocktail reception, where the winners of the various disciplines were recognized and the spirit of solidarity that characterizes this initiative was celebrated.
