The British Chamber of Commerce successfully celebrated the 11th British Polo Cup dedicated to Don Ramón Menéndez

The British Chamber of Commerce of the Dominican Republic (BritChamDR) successfully held the 11th British Polo Cup on March 14th at the Casa de Campo Polo Club, once again solidifying its position as one of the most prominent sporting and social events on the annual calendar.

The event brought together polo enthusiasts, business representatives, diplomatic corps, and special guests, who enjoyed an exciting sporting encounter that culminated with the victory of the Casa de Campo team, winners of this eleventh edition of the tournament, as well as the recognition of the MVP Horse, highlighting the sporting excellence of both the players and their mounts.

This edition was dedicated to Don Ramón (Papo) Menéndez, Executive Vice President of Central Romana Corporation, who was recognized for his outstanding career, his contributions to the country's business development, and his valuable contribution to the promotion and strengthening of polo in the Dominican Republic.

During the event, BritChamDR also presented a special recognition to the United States, Argentina, India, the United Kingdom, and Spain, through their respective embassies, as an expression of gratitude for their contribution to the development of polo as a sport and for their continued commitment to promoting this noble sport, further strengthening ties between nations.

True to its social commitment, part of the funds raised during the event will be allocated to support the Hogar del Niño and Save the Children foundations, contributing to initiatives that positively impact vulnerable communities.
