On March 22nd, the polo field at Casa de Campo was the venue for the third edition of the Ladies Polo Cup 2025, a tournament that celebrated the strength, elegance, and talent of women in polo, culminating in an unforgettable closing event filled with excitement, gastronomy, fashion, and solidarity.
The final match, masterfully narrated by Leo Matos, Fernando Arata (Head of Polo at Casa de Campo), and José López, kept the audience on the edge of their seats until the very last chukker. The Baglietto team was crowned champion with a score of 5-3 against the Tpack team, in an exciting encounter that highlighted the high competitive level and passion of the players.
The finalist teams were comprised of:
Baglietto Team
Clelia Crespo
Arianna Van Schermbeek
Verónica Posse
Malena Colombo
Tpack Team:
Praxila Trabattoni
Eliane Bruhin
Guillermina Suffern
Mary Jo Reinhart
The event was much more than a polo match: it became a true celebration of style, flavor, and commitment. Attendees enjoyed an exquisite gastronomic offering by La Tiendita, The Butcher Shop, Onno's, and Artisan stores, while the exclusive Veuve Clicquot Sun Club added a bubbly and sophisticated touch to the atmosphere. Fashion also had its space with the presence of La Tienda Habana, which presented clothing and accessories ideal for the occasion.
The Ladies Polo Cup was organized by Carolina Rainer, who, as the founder and organizer of the event, was responsible for creating a unique experience that celebrated not only women's polo but also elegance and social commitment. True to its charitable spirit, the event designated the attendees' contributions —through milk donations— to the Hogar del Niño, an initiative of the Patronato Benéfico Oriental (PBO), which positively impacts hundreds of children and their families in the region.
Now consolidated as one of the most anticipated dates on the Caribbean's sporting and social calendar, the Ladies Polo Cup reaffirms Casa de Campo as the epicenter of women's polo, where sport, elegance, fashion, and solidarity come together to celebrate women.
