Romangus goes big at Casa de Campo as part of the 2025 Casa de Campo Challenge

On Saturday afternoon, April 19th, the prestigious Polo Club of Casa de Campo was the scene of a vibrant sporting encounter between the Casa de Campo and Perrier-Jouët teams, in an event that combined adrenaline, elegance, and tradition.

The long-awaited game kicked off at 4:00 p.m., with the participation of outstanding players: representing Casa de Campo were Fernando Arata, Pablo Ávalos, Dennys Santana, and Alex Schad; and for Perrier-Jouët, Mauricio Bogaert, Gilberto Constanza, Modesto Constanza, and Julio López.

The match was intense from the first chukker, with strategic plays, high-speed runs, and precise shots that had the audience on the edge of their seats. The live commentary, led by veteran Dr. José López, added excitement and context to the game's progression, connecting the audience with every play and creating an atmosphere of genuine competition.

The Casa de Campo Challenge 2025 once again confirms that Casa de Campo is not only the home of polo in the Caribbean, but also the meeting point where sporting excellence, tradition, and a high-level lifestyle go hand in hand.

Before the first chukker, a minute of silence was observed in honor of the victims of the Jet Set, followed by the solemn rendition of the National Anthem, in the presence of special guests, family members, and equestrian sports enthusiasts.

The event also marked the official launch of Romangus, Central Romana's new premium meat line, celebrated with a spectacular tasting open to the attending public. The polo experience was complemented by the presence of Baglietto, a prestigious Italian firm represented in the country by IBI Yachts and closely linked to the world of polo. Their exclusive space, designed to offer comfort and sophistication, has become one of the most vibrant and distinguished environments of the afternoon.
