Opening of the exhibition “A Minute with Angels” by emerging artist Ángela Pérez

Last Friday, June 12th, WAO Gallery & Cultural Center presented “A Minute with Angels” by Ángela Pérez. The emerging artist, who has had cerebral palsy since birth, exhibited 23 vibrant pieces demonstrating that a diagnosis does not limit human art and creativity.

In her first exhibition, sponsored by Casa de Campo Resort & Villas, Ángela makes her artistic evolution clear by applying techniques of distressing, dragging, and pouring in works that fill the viewer with color and emotion. With this exhibition, the Patronato Benéfico Oriental, Inc. (PBO) continues its commitment to sustainable initiatives with social impact to promote culture, the proceeds of which allow them to be replicated in vulnerable communities that belong to their community empowerment programs.

“A Minute with Angeles” will be available to the public until June 26th at the gallery, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Tuesday through Saturday. Sundays and Mondays closed.
