On Saturday, March 29th, the Altos de Chavón Market event opened its doors with a new edition full of talent and human warmth. From 2:00 PM, various people approached the gardens to buy and admire each of the pieces made with love by Dominican hands.
Organized by Costasur and the management of Altos de Chavón, the event brought together local artisans and entrepreneurs who, beyond offering products, shared pieces of their stories. Delicately crafted jewelry, colorful textiles, décor with identity, and unique handbags were just a part of what attendees could discover.
Walking through the market was quite an experience. Each exhibitor represented an effort, a passion, and a dream come true. It was a day to reconnect with our roots, value what's ours, and be moved by the talent that flourishes in every corner of the country.
Altos de Chavón Market is more than just a market; it's an embrace of local art, a space where the Casa de Campo community unites to celebrate the creativity that defines us. These initiatives reaffirm our commitment to the growth of our artisans, building bridges between their work and those who know how to appreciate it.
With a warm and enthusiastic response from the audience, the organization thanked everyone for their support and reaffirmed its promise: to continue creating spaces where Dominican talent always has a place to shine.
