From Wednesday, January 29th to Saturday, February 1st, La Romana Country Club hosted participants of the highly anticipated annual golf tournament, «Member Guest.» Over three days filled with excitement, camaraderie, and healthy competition, club members had the opportunity to share an exclusive weekend of golf with their closest friends.

This tournament, which brought together 38 couples (32 male and 6 female), was not only a sporting competition but also a tribute to Mr. Álvaro Silva, a founding member and key figure in the club's history. An event that reflected the spirit of camaraderie and tradition that characterizes La Romana Country Club.

The competition format consisted of teams composed of a member and their guest, who played 5 nine-hole matches against other teams in their division. The winners of each division advanced to the exciting «shootout,» where teams were eliminated until the champions were crowned.

The activities of this edition were varied and full of excitement. After registration on Wednesday, January 29, and practice rounds, the action began on Thursday, the 30th, with intense nine-hole matchups. Afterward, participants enjoyed an exclusive lunch at the Clubhouse, followed by fun putting contests and the challenging «Closest to the Pin,» all accompanied by cocktails and snacks in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.

On Saturday, February 1st, the competition reached its peak with the final matches. The day concluded with a delicious dinner, as well as a lively dance party and an emotional awards ceremony, where the most outstanding participants were recognized.

The winners of the women's category were Marcella Bettoni and Juanita Albuja, while in the men's category, the champions were Carlos Santa Cruz and Mandy García, who took home the honors of this prestigious tournament.
