Casa de Campo Resort & Villas commemorated the U.S. Independence Day with a weekend of celebrations on July 3rd and 4th. The event, designed especially to honor and entertain the resort's resident and visiting American community, is an initiative born from the vision of Jason Kycek, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Casa de Campo.
The festivities began on Friday, July 3rd at the practice center.Driving range) of the renowned Teeth of the Dog® golf course, which was transformed into a festive and family-friendly setting. The day included an exciting golf cart decorating competition, where the community's creativity shone in four main categories:
- 1st Place Overall «The Best of the Event»
- 2nd Place The Most Creative
- 3rd Place: The Most Patriotic
- 4th Place: Best Family / Team Spirit
The night continued in a great atmosphere with the experience of Night Golf, the giant screen broadcast of the FIFA match between Argentina and Cape Verde, and a gastronomic offering that transported attendees to North American traditions with classic hot dogs, hamburgers, and the indispensable apple pie.
The grand finale took place on Saturday, July 4th, with a grand party in the pool area of the Minitas Beach Club restaurant. The formal event began with a moving a cappella rendition of the United States national anthem by the Dominican group “Casi Grupo,” followed by the notes of the Dominican national anthem, masterfully performed by the 8-year-old artist, Ian David Ferreira.
The evening dazzled attendees with a top-tier artistic lineup that included an electrifying acrobatic fire show, live music by DJ Leo, and the danceable rhythms of the Benny Hiraldo Group Band. The night's pinnacle moment merged modernity with tradition: an astounding light show with a drone display that illuminated the Caribbean sky, followed by the iconic fireworks exhibition that filled all spectators with emotion.
