Golf and Education: A Life-Changing Alliance at Fundación MIR

On January 18th, the iconic La Romana Country Club Golf Course became the epicenter of a day of solidarity and sporting excellence with the celebration of the annual Golf for Education tournament, organized by the MIR Foundation. This event brought together golfers from the community who, beyond showcasing their skills on the green, united for a transformative cause: ensuring quality education for hundreds of young Dominicans.

From its inception, this tournament has been a fundamental pillar in the vision of its president, Ms. Lian Fanjul, who, along with her entire team, has tirelessly led the commitment of the MIR Foundation, betting on educational well-being as the engine for social change.
