Last Saturday, August 15th, MIR Foundation celebrated their long-awaited annual event, the Family Day 2026, a day dedicated to bringing together family, friends, collaborators, and community members around sports, solidarity, and a commitment to education.

This vibrant day featured a program of activities that included the traditional golf tournament at La Romana Country Cluba tennis clinic for boys and girls, and the highly anticipated Paddle Battle, bringing together participants of all ages in an atmosphere of fun, camaraderie, and sportsmanship.

The day culminated with a special awards dinner at Minitas Beach Club, where participants, sponsors, and friends of Fundación MIR gathered to celebrate the success of the event and recognize those who made this new edition possible.

The funds raised contribute to strengthening the educational and social programs of Fundación MIR, which continue to provide opportunities and tools for the development of children and youth from the La Romana community.
