El anuncio que revolucionó la décima edición del Latin America Amateur Championship, realizado en Pilar Golf Club, Buenos Aires, Argentina, y que coronó como ganador a Justin Hastings, de Islas Caimán, tuvo como protagonista principal a Casa de Campo Resort & Villas.
During the regular press conference held by the LAAC Founding Partners, where Lima Golf Club in Peru was confirmed as the host of the 2026 championship, the #1 golf resort in the Caribbean was selected by the Masters, The R&A, and the USGA to host the first LAAC Academy. The program will allocate resources to the education and instruction of players in Latin America. The format will be similar to the one launched nearly seven years ago in conjunction with the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship.

We are truly excited about the future and what this will mean for the championship,” said Fred Ridley, Chairman of Augusta National, during the LAAC press conference.

El LAAC Academy está diseñado como un programa de entrenamiento de una semana de duración en donde los jugadores recibirán instrucción de clase mundial en áreas clave de la competencia de alto rendimiento como nutrición, habilidades de juego corto, psicología del deporte, entrenamiento físico, análisis y mejora técnica del swing. Los Socios Fundadores del LAAC cubrirán todos los gastos para permitir la participación de cualquier tipo de jugador.
