Renowned Colombian fashion designer Silvia Tcherassi hosted an exclusive Trunk Show from October 18th to 20th at the La Romana Country Club in Casa de Campo, benefiting Fundación MIR and El Hogar del Niño. This event, which combines fashion and philanthropy, brought together members of the community to enjoy the new pieces from Tcherassi's latest collection.
The opening cocktail party took place on Friday, October 18 at 6:00 in the evening, where attendees could discover the innovative creations of Tcherassi, who is considered a pioneer of Latin style. Born in Colombia, Tcherassi began her career as an interior designer, but her search for new artistic expressions led her to fashion. Her works have been presented at Paris and Milan fashion weeks, and are available worldwide through her 15 namesake stores in prime locations.
In addition to her work as a designer, Tcherassi is the founder and creative director of Tcherassi Hotels, focusing on hospitality and real estate projects. Her debut property, Tcherassi Hotel + Spa in Cartagena de Indias, has been recognized as one of the best in the world by Condé Nast Traveler and Travel + Leisure.
The designer stands out not only for her talent but also for her social commitment. Silvia Tcherassi was honored with the “Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters” by the French government, in recognition of her contributions to the world of culture and design.
This Trunk Show, in addition to celebrating fashion, was also an act of solidarity towards those most in need, reaffirming Silvia Tcherassi's commitment to social causes and her role as a reference in the fashion industry.
