Casa de Campo Resort and Villas, one of the most exclusive destinations in the Dominican Republic, celebrated the inauguration of two new paddle tennis courts located at its Racquet Center on August 15th. The opening was marked by a friendly tournament that brought together community guests, signaling a milestone in the evolution of this prestigious sports center.
With the addition of these new facilities, Casa de Campo's Racquet Center now boasts four padel courts, doubling its previous capacity. This increase allows for the organization of larger tournaments and offers a wider range of available times to meet growing customer demand.
Padel, a rapidly growing sport in the country, thus benefits from infrastructure that facilitates its practice at any time of day. The courts at the Racquet Center are perfectly illuminated, allowing players to enjoy their sport even during evening hours, with availability from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Matías Territoriale, director of the Racquet Center, expressed his enthusiasm for the new additions and announced plans to hold more tournaments to foster interaction among clients and guests of Casa de Campo. «We want to continue promoting an environment where our clients can enjoy padel and the camaraderie this sport provides,» stated Territoriale.
Charles Keusters, Director of Operations at Casa de Campo, praised the work of Territoriale and highlighted the evolution of the Racquet Center. «Matías has been a fundamental piece in diversifying the sports offered at the center, improving the quality of the facilities, and creating a vibrant community,» he commented. Keusters details that the improvements include enhanced lighting, renewed landscaping, and an optimized maintenance strategy that have transformed the center into a benchmark for racquet sports enthusiasts.
Over the past seven and a half years, the Racquet Center at Casa de Campo has undergone a remarkable expansion in its service offerings and the quality of its facilities. Currently, the center boasts 20 racquet sport facilities, including 11 clay tennis courts, one hard tennis court, 4 pickleball courts, and 4 paddle courts.
The friendly tournament held to inaugurate the new courts had outstanding results:
Champions: Idarmis Cucurullo and Pilar Camarero
Finalists: Patricia Peguero and Laura Gutiérrez
Third place: Ivonna Sosa and Wendolyn Rodríguez
Fourth place: Magdalena Cavazos and Ana Olivares
The continuous expansion and improvement of the Racquet Center underscores Casa de Campo Resort and Villas' commitment to the satisfaction and well-being of its visitors and guests, consolidating its position as a leader in offering high-level sports experiences in the region.
