A tribute to our heroes and culture

The Latin America Amateur Championship chose Casa de Campo for its new academy.
During the regular press conference held by the LAAC Founding Partners, where Lima Golf Club in Peru was confirmed as the host of the 2026 championship, the #1 golf resort in the Caribbean was selected by the Masters, The R&A, and the USGA to host the first LAAC Academy. The program will allocate resources to the education and instruction of players in Latin America. The format will be similar to the one launched nearly seven years ago in conjunction with the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship.
“We are very grateful that such a wonderful place as Casa de Campo will allow us to establish our first academy for the Latin America Amateur Championship there. We are truly excited about the future and what this will mean for the championship,” said Fred Ridley, Chairman of Augusta National, during the LAAC press conference.
Jason Kycek, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Casa de Campo Resort & Villas, added: “We are honored that Casa de Campo has been selected as the inaugural host of the LAAC Academy.
