Casa de Campo Resort & Villas Officially Welcomes Christmas 2025 with the Traditional Lighting Ceremony in Altos de Chavón

Casa de Campo Resort & Villas celebrated the official opening of Christmas in Altos de Chavón with its traditional Lighting Ceremony, one of the most anticipated events of the season, which brings together owners, guests, residents, and the community each year for a night full of magic, excitement, and Christmas spirit.

Held in the iconic Altos de Chavón Plaza, the event had the special support of Central Romana Corporation, Costasur Dominicana, and Casa de Campo Resort, who once again offered this experience as a gift to all the families who enjoy the resort and its surroundings.

The ceremony began with a warm welcome in Spanish and English, inviting everyone present to celebrate together the start of the Christmas season in one of the Caribbean's most iconic settings.

As part of the program, the children of the MIR Foundation presented their traditional Living Nativity, a performance that fills the celebration with tenderness and meaning each year, highlighting the authentic spirit of Christmas.

Father José Nicolás Tejera del Castillo, parish priest of the San Estanislao church in Altos de Chavón, offered a special blessing to the Christmas tree and the attendees, marking a solemn and significant moment within the ceremony.

The evening continued with institutional remarks from Mr. Andrés Pichardo Rosenberg, President of Casa de Campo Resort & Villas, and Mr. Juan Velázquez, Vice President of Costasur Dominicana, who thanked the audience for their presence and reiterated the commitment of both institutions to tradition, culture, and community.

The most special moment of the night arrived with the Lighting of the Christmas Tree and all the festive decorations of Altos de Chavón. This year, in addition to executives, children from the community accompanied Gabriela Reginatto for the countdown and helped ignite the Christmas magic, making the act an even more emotional and representative gesture of the spirit of unity that characterizes the season.

To top it all off, attendees enjoyed a Christmas concert by the Batuta Orchestra, led by conductor Juan Carlo Polanco. The performance filled the plaza with music, harmony, and joy, concluding one of Casa de Campo's most iconic celebrations with applause.

Casa de Campo Resort & Villas invites everyone to enjoy the extensive artistic and cultural program prepared for the holiday season in Altos de Chavón, which will include concerts, family activities, and special experiences for residents and visitors.

With this celebration, Casa de Campo officially welcomes a Christmas full of magic, tradition, and joy for the whole family.
