From November 1st to 3rd, Casa de Campo became the center of attention, bringing a touch of Spanish culture with the second edition of the ALMA by The Sphere event.
This is the project of two Spanish entrepreneurs, Cuchy Pérez and Susana Deleito, who chose the Dominican Republic for the second time as the venue to unite both cultures. «We are delighted that the second edition of ALMA by The Sphere will be held again in this country that feels like our brother. Once again, we are bringing this project with a unique presentation of Spain, like never before seen in the Dominican Republic.»
On the first night, Friday, November 1st, Casa de Campo hosted a gala dinner with Spanish Michelin-starred chef David García, alongside a flamenco show by «El Corral de la Morería,» featuring Eduardo Guerrero, one of the leading dancers from the world's most famous flamenco stage.
On Saturday, November 2, ALMA by The Sphere relocated to Altos de Chavón to offer a unique dinner-show experience. Private boxes were set up around the amphitheater, where guests enjoyed a dinner prepared by Spanish chefs Hermanos Vinagre, holders of three Repsol Suns, the highest recognition in Spanish gastronomy. After dinner, attendees enjoyed «ABBA The New Experience,» a unique show featuring the cast currently performing in Spain. The night concluded with a performance by renowned international artist and DJ Juan Magán.
On the final day of the event, Sunday, November 3rd, the Seville Fair was recreated in the polo fields of Casa de Campo, featuring the traditional elements of this world-famous celebration, including flamenco dresses, booths, performances by flamenco groups, and typical Spanish food. Musical performances included Los Bomberay, Grupo Salea, and Los Paripé.
