Casa de Campo Resort & Villas officially announced the celebration of the first edition of Casa de Campo Fashion Week, a platform aimed at strengthening the Dominican Republic's projection as a destination for fashion, luxury, and world-class experiences in the Caribbean.
The official launch took place during an exclusive cocktail party held at Minitas Beach, where designers, entrepreneurs, representatives of the creative industry, special guests, and members of the national and international press gathered.
Casa de Campo Fashion Week will take place from June 4th to 7th, 2026, and will feature an agenda integrating fashion shows, wellness experiences, conversation panels, art exhibitions, and exclusive gatherings in different emblematic spaces of Casa de Campo and Altos de Chavón.
During the activity, resort executives highlighted that this initiative is part of Casa de Campo's strategic vision to continue diversifying its tourist offerings and consolidate its positioning as a regional benchmark in luxury hospitality, entertainment, and high-profile events.
The renowned actress and former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres was officially presented as the ambassador for this first edition of the event, contributing her international profile, career, and connection with initiatives related to well-being, lifestyle, and empowerment. As part of the most anticipated moments on the agenda, her son Ryan Muñiz will participate as a guest model in the event's fashion shows, marking the first time mother and son will share a fashion stage in the Dominican Republic.
“Casa de Campo Fashion Week was born as a platform to celebrate creativity, boost talent, and present the Dominican Republic as a destination of luxury, culture, and world-class experiences,” said Jason Kycek, senior vice president of Corporate Sales and Marketing for Casa de Campo.
Kycek thanked the support of the resort's board of directors, especially the president of Casa de Campo, Andrés Pichardo Rosenberg, as well as the support of the Ministry of Tourism of the Dominican Republic for backing an initiative that strengthens the international projection of the country's brand.
The creative direction of the event will be in the hands of Sandro Guzmán, who highlighted during the launch the curatorial process and selection of the collections presented by each designer, aiming for a proposal aligned with international fashion and luxury standards. Guzmán also informed that the runways will feature the participation of 90 models from his renowned agency Ossygeno Models, consolidating a high-level production for this first edition.
The official program will include presentations by prominent national and international designers: Giannina Azar, Gaby Azar, JC Lagares, Jacqueline Then, Ana Redman Pablo, Luis Antonio, Jenny Polanco, Rafael Rivero, Maylé Vásquez, Carolina Socías, and Oriett Domenech, culminating with the closing fashion show by the renowned Spanish firm Custo Barcelona.
As part of the agenda, the panel “The Art of Balance” will be held, featuring Dayanara Torres, Dr. Elio Galán, and Dr. Lisbeth Méndez, who will address topics related to integral well-being, health, and lifestyle.
With this initiative, Casa de Campo reaffirms its commitment to developing innovative proposals that integrate tourism, culture, entertainment, and international projection, strengthening the positioning of the Dominican Republic as one of the most important luxury destinations in the Caribbean.
