Art and connection at artist Dita Stepanova's “Sip & Paint” at the Altos de Chavón Art Gallery

Last Saturday, January 17th, the Altos de Chavón Art Gallery was transformed into a space of pure creativity and leisure. Under the guidance of renowned artist Dita Stepanova, an enthusiastic group of participants gathered for a Sip & Paint experience, an afternoon where brushstrokes and wine took center stage.

From 3:00 PM, the event welcomed people who, beyond seeking technique, arrived with the desire to connect with their own sensitivity. The atmosphere was one of complete relaxation and camaraderie. Amidst laughter, glasses of wine, and a vibrant positive energy, attendees explored their artistic side in an environment that invited them to release tension and enjoy the creative process as a form of well-being.

This activity was carried out as part of the event program for «Wonderland,» Stepanova's solo exhibition which opened on Friday, January 9th, in an intimate evening that brought together collectors, critics, and art lovers.

About the exhibition: Wonderland

«Wonderland» is an invitation to immerse oneself in a fantasy universe that uses references from classic fairy tales to question the current societal standards of perfection. Its “Almost Perfect” series stands out, where hand-painted teddy bears act as powerful metaphors for imposed ideals and the emotional burden they carry.

Through a delicate and dreamlike aesthetic, the exhibition proposes a deep reflection on authentic beauty and uniqueness, allowing each viewer to establish an intimate dialogue with the pieces.

About the artist Dita Stepanova, she has a solid international career. A graduate with a Master's degree from the Prague Academy of Fine Arts In 1997, he perfected his technique at art centers in Austria and New York. His work has been exhibited in prestigious galleries and museums in France, Germany, Italy, and the United States. It is worth noting that, since 2009, his work has been part of the permanent collection of the Prague Museum of Modern Art.

The exhibition «Wonderland» will remain open to the public at the Altos de Chavón Art Gallery until February 8, 2026. The entire community and visitors to Casa de Campo are invited to explore this creative universe and discover the magic of the imperfect.
