The traditional Altos de Chavón Market was held with a large turnout for its special edition last Saturday, November 22, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. On this occasion, the handicraft market served as the perfect prelude to the end-of-year festivities, offering visitors a varied and colorful range of products with a pronounced Christmas accent.

Artisans and local producers dazzled visitors with their most innovative pieces, highlighting the skill and dedication with which each of them presents their products. The rustic market tents, elegantly decorated for the season, showcased unique creations:

Jewels of Dominicanidad: Pieces were exhibited that pay homage to the local culture and the emblematic architecture of Altos de Chavón, reflecting the essence of the Dominican Republic.

Christmas motifs: A clear festive atmosphere was perceived. In several stands, Christmas decorations were prominent, with elements such as poinsettias, garlands, and warm lights setting the mood for the stroll.

Genuine gifts and details: Visitors could purchase original, handmade gifts, from illustrations and postcards with natural and folk motifs (as seen at the art stands), to textile products like simple and elegant white cotton t-shirts.

The gastronomic offering and typical flavors were one of the great attractions. The sale of seasonal products, perfect for Christmas celebrations, stood out:

Artisanal drinks: The sale of bottled artisanal drinks attracted attention, such as the popular Dominican Christmas punch, presented with bows in red and green colors, festive decorations and labels, in addition to natural juices.

Sweets and Natural Products: Products such as honey and bee derivatives were also offered, emphasizing the quality and purity of local ingredients.
