In honor of Mother's Day celebrations, Altos de Chavón held a special edition of its traditional Market last Saturday, May 30th, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The event brought together 23 artisans and entrepreneurs for an afternoon dedicated to local talent, art, and experiences designed to honor mothers.
During the day, residents and visitors enjoyed a varied offering of products and experiences. As part of the special activities, an image consultant offered personalized guidance to the attending mothers, while Joyería Valeronga participated in the Market for the first time with a selection of pieces made of silver and gold.
Art had a prominent presence thanks to the participation of young visual artists and Xavier Roselló, a professor at the Altos de Chavón School of Design, who presented a collection of paintings inspired by the essence and beauty of this emblematic cultural destination. Likewise, Atelier de las Estaciones exhibited its collection of tablecloths. Seasonal Table with Soul, and Librería Casa Calíope offered a selection of contemporary books for book lovers.
The culinary offering was represented by Vainilla Party, which returned to the Market with an offering that was very well received by attendees. Also participating were Edelyns Crochet, with their delicate handmade flowers, and Nina Pretty Woman, with a colorful collection of handmade bows and accessories.
As a complement to the experience, the Artisan store offered pottery classes for mothers and children, creating a space for learning, creativity, and family bonding.
With this special edition, Altos de Chavón reaffirms its commitment to promoting entrepreneurship, supporting local talent, and offering experiences that enrich the cultural and social life of the community.
