Altos de Chavón Successfully Celebrated Oktoberfest 2026

Last Saturday, October 17, the Main Plaza of Altos de Chavón became the epicenter of the Oktoberfest 2026 celebration, an evening that blended German tradition with the community spirit of Casa de Campo. The event, which began at 7:00 p.m., brought together residents and visitors for a night marked by music, gastronomy, and good beer.

The evening kicked off with music by DJ Kambax, who welcomed the public as they toured the different stands set up for the occasion. At 7:30 p.m., the official welcome took place, during which a special promotion was announced: the purchase of an artisanal beer mug, crafted by the artisans of Altos de Chavón, along with three beer coupons for RD$1,000.00. A proposal that encouraged attendees to take home their official mug and prepare for the traditional toast.

Throughout the night, those present were able to enjoy the offerings of renowned breweries and brands, including Estrella Damm Barcelona, Paulaner, 1906, Estrella Galicia, Canita, Proost, Beer & Coffee, Presidente, Corona, La Cacata, and Helados Cinco, distributed across stands that invited strolling and tasting.

The highlight came at 8:45 p.m. with the official "Prost" toast, led by Mr. Andrés Pichardo, President of Casa de Campo Resort & Villas; Mr. Juan Velázquez, Vice President and Administrator of Costasur Casa de Campo; and Mrs. Marcela Pizarro, General Manager of Altos de Chavón. Together they invited the public to raise their mugs and shout "Prost!" in unison, in a gesture that symbolized the spirit of fellowship of the German festival.

The music continued with performances by Banda Ariel and Franklin, who alternated with DJ Kambax to keep the energy going throughout the night. Attendees enjoyed a festive atmosphere until the close of the event, scheduled for 12:30 a.m.

With this celebration, Casa de Campo reaffirms its commitment to offering experiences that integrate international traditions with local talent and the sense of community that distinguishes its residents and visitors. The Altos de Chavón Oktoberfest thus consolidates itself as one of the most anticipated activities of the October season.
