Last Friday, May 8th, the Altos de Chavón Art Gallery transformed into a vibrant stage of creative expression with the inauguration of the anticipated Annual Art Exhibition from the Abraham Lincoln School, an event that brought together over 400 attendees.
From 6:00 p.m. onwards, both floors of the gallery were filled with a vast display of creativity, where paintings, crafts, and artisanal works created by students from Pre-Kindergarten to 12th Grade filled the spaces with a showcase of color, imagination, and Dominican identity.
One of the highlights of the evening was the participation of a member of the school's staff, who created a live portrait using pebbles, captivating the audience and adding a dynamic and artistic element to the exhibition.
The presence of children accompanied by their parents, sharing laughter, enthusiastically pointing out artworks, and capturing memories, added an atmosphere of excitement and pride to the evening, reflecting the effort and dedication invested in each of the exhibited pieces.
This exhibition showcases the committed work of the institution's art teachers, who guide students in the process of discovering and developing their artistic voice, consolidating the exhibition as one of the most significant cultural events for the educational community.
