Last Saturday, January 24th, the first Altos de Chavón Market of 2026 was held. The event, which took place in the vicinity of the exclusive Estudio Ēquilibra, was a successful gathering that brought together the Casa de Campo community and tourists for a day dedicated to creativity and well-being.
From 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the market offered an immersive experience where wellness and art went hand in hand. The location was no accident: the synergy with Estudio Ēquilibra allowed attendees of the wellness sessions to integrate seamlessly with the market, bringing an air of vitality and freshness that set the tone for the day.
This edition stood out for the integration of a new generation of artisans and local businesses joining the resort's commercial offering. A differentiating element was the active participation of fine arts students, who imbued the event with a young and contemporary aesthetic, showcasing their creative processes to an audience captivated by the originality of the pieces.
Visitors toured a curated selection of booths that included:
Jewelry and accessories: Unique pieces in artisan costume jewelry and the mysticism of semi-precious stones.
Fashion and Design: Designer clothing collections with fresh materials and modern cuts.
Gastronomy: A display of healthy snacks and artisanal products ideal for complementing the conscious lifestyle promoted by the study.
This first Altos de Chavón Market of the year was very crowded. Additionally, it is part of a series of events that promise to continue boosting Dominican entrepreneurship and young talent.
