Casa de Campo Resort & Villas once again proved why it's the favorite destination for celebrating in a big way, transforming the July 4th weekend into a vibrant Caribbean-style experience. From July 4th to 5th, residents and guests enjoyed a program packed with family-friendly activities, American cuisine, and an atmosphere full of joy, community, and festive spirit.
Creativity on wheels and golf under the stars
The celebration began on Friday in the Teeth of the Dog practice area with the now classic Decorated Golf Cart Contest. Participants of all ages showcased their creativity with colorful and original patriotic designs.
The winners of this edition were:
First Place - Lorenzo/Ruiz Family
– Second place – Russell and Rachel Rife
– Third place – The James Family
The atmosphere was festive and familial, with music, applause, and much camaraderie. Later, glow-in-the-dark golf lit up the night with a fun twist on the classic sport, where players enjoyed the course under the starlit sky with food, cocktails, and good company.
Rock by the sea and a spectacular finale
On Saturday, the celebration moved to Minitas Beach Club, where the beach was filled with music, flavors, and entertainment. Attendees savored burgers, hot dogs, spicy wings, rib sandwiches, and popcorn in a relaxed and lively beach atmosphere.
The band 4ta Dimensión livened up the evening with a repertoire of classic rock from the 80s to the 2000s, inviting everyone to sing and dance to the rhythm of great hits. Meanwhile, children enjoyed activities such as face painting, crafts, and creative games designed especially for them.
Later, an impressive fire show with acrobatic performances amazed young and old alike, and finally, a brilliant fireworks display lit up the sky over Minitas Beach, bringing the weekend to a spectacular close.
