On January 18th, the emblematic La Romana Country Club Golf Course became the epicenter of a day of solidarity and sporting excellence with the celebration of the annual Golf for Education tournament, organized by the MIR Foundation. This event brought together golfers from the community who, beyond showcasing their skills on the green, united for a transformative cause: to guarantee quality education for hundreds of young Dominicans.
Since its inception, this tournament has been a fundamental pillar in the vision of its president, Ms. Lian Fanjul, who, along with her entire team, has tirelessly led the commitment of the MIR Foundation, betting on educational well-being as the engine of social change.
With every swing, the participants and sponsors demonstrated that golf can be more than just a sport; it can be a vehicle for hope and personal growth.
