Last Sunday, December 8th, the Altos de Chavón Art Gallery celebrated the closing cocktail reception for the successful exhibition «Probable Alphabets» by architect and painter Gianfranco Fini. Inaugurated on November 8th, the exhibition featured 38 pieces that explore the origins of human communication through strokes and symbols, offering a profound look into humanity's earliest attempts at self-expression.

The closing event, attended by various personalities from the Casa de Campo community, turned into a night of reflection and artistic dialogue, with Fini's work as the focal point. Her paintings, created on canvas using acrylic and oil techniques, evoke the earliest signs used by humanity, from marks on clay to cave paintings, inviting attendees to explore the origin of language and the most primitive forms of human expression.

In the artist's own words, «my intention is to seek signs and a possible language, positioning myself in front of the canvas or the sheet of paper with the same innocence that children have, but with the baggage of my sensitivity and knowledge.» This approach, so unique and personal, resonated deeply with those present, who were able to understand the creative process that brings the exhibition's pieces to life.

During the event, the artwork titled «Appunti Di Viaggio G8 CC 2024» was raffled, with Mr. Luis Valls, a resident of Casa de Campo, being the winner.
