Last Friday, April 26th, the exhibition “Dreams the River Brought Me” by multidisciplinary artist América Olivo was inaugurated at WAO Gallery & Cultural Center, featuring 30 works that showcase solid waste from the artist's creative perspective, inviting the viewer to become aware of our environment through a chromatic metaphor.

Family, friends, and artists gathered to support the talent of a resident of [city name] who enchants us with her magic at every exhibition, leaving us this time with a significant lesson that allows that river to «keep dreaming» of a better tomorrow without receiving the waste that harms it.

The welcoming remarks were given by Sanil Garcia, followed by América Olivo, who thanked everyone present for joining her to experience and decipher “Dreams the River Brought Me,” followed by an exquisite toast courtesy of Casa de Campo Resort & Villas for the attendees.

The Patronato Benéfico Oriental, Inc. (PBO) continues its commitment to sustainable social impact initiatives with the goal of promoting culture. To this end, it has complemented its programs with the WAO Chavón initiatives, which include: WAO Innovation HUB, WAO Gallery & Cultural Center, and the Altos de Chavón Regional Archaeological Museum, in Altos de Chavón.

The exhibition will remain open until May 20th at Wao Gallery and Cultural Center, from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, Tuesday through Saturday.
