In an atmosphere of joy and gratitude, the La Romana Country Club celebrated its traditional Thanksgiving Dinner, bringing together around 200 people, including members and their distinguished guests. This annual event is a tradition that strengthens community bonds and celebrates the essence of Thanksgiving Day.

The evening was even more special with the pleasant presence of a delegation of imported baseball players and technicians from the Toros del Este baseball team. The camaraderie of the partners, their guests, and the sports representatives reinforced the festive and grateful atmosphere that characterizes this celebration.

An extraordinary banquet

The exquisite dinner menu was prepared by the renowned Country Club chef, Giovanni Astronomo. Attendees enjoyed a first-class culinary experience, starting with a salad bar that offered a variety of lettuces, mushrooms, carrots, chickpeas, cucumbers, tomatoes, radishes, sweet potatoes, beets, and other fresh and delicious ingredients.

The Trinche station was a delight for the palate, featuring roasted turkey with cranberry and orange sauce, as well as ribeye roast with red wine sauce. The appetizers were not to be outdone, offering green bean casserole, bread and sausage stuffing, grilled vegetables, scalloped potatoes, salmon over roasted vegetables, and beef saltimbocca.

The desserts were the icing on the cake, with irresistible options including carrot cake, pecan pie, and sweet potato flan. Diners savored every bite, culminating the evening with the satisfaction of having shared special moments with friends and family.

The atmosphere was lively with live music, provided by the talented cover band Gold Music.
