(PBO) celebrated the twenty-eighth edition of its traditional event with great success.&nbsp;<strong>Children's Home Weekend<\/strong>, a charity event that brought together hundreds of people at Casa de Campo to participate in various sports competitions and recreational activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This event, with more than two decades of history, has as its main objective to raise funds for the development of educational, social, and health programs at the Hogar del Ni\u00f1o, benefiting more than 2,000 girls, boys, and young people from La Romana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A social and sporting impact event<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the event,&nbsp;<strong>Xiomara Men\u00e9ndez D\u00e1jer<\/strong>, president of the PBO, expressed her deep gratitude to the families, friends, and sponsoring companies that make this initiative possible each year. \u201cThanks to your support, we achieve positive changes in the lives of the most vulnerable children,\u201d she highlighted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The exclusive&nbsp;<strong>La Romana Country Club<\/strong>&nbsp;served as a stage for the&nbsp;<strong>Golf Tournament<\/strong>&nbsp;in Scramble mode, as well as for games of&nbsp;<strong>Tennis and Padel<\/strong>&nbsp;in a mixed-round robin format, making these tournaments more fun; and&nbsp;<strong>Pickleball<\/strong>.
